ProviderView™ is an easy-to-use interface that enables hc1 CRM users to filter data from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) about individuals who provide healthcare services.  Users can save provider filter sets and import provider information into contact records in the hc1 CRM.

ProviderView™ is a separate hc1 service that your company can subscribe to. After an hc1 team member has activated it for your company, your system administrator can give you access to it through your hc1 CRM environment. The section called Configuring ProviderView has more information.

To get started, log in to hc1 and click the ProviderView tab. It has three dashboards:

  • The Providers dashboard displays geographic, specialty, name, and National Provider Identifier (NPI) information about providers.
  • The Prescriptions dashboard displays information about provider prescription volume and includes filters for specialties, states, and total drug cost.
  • The Claims tab displays information about Medicare claims--how much was charged, how much was allowable, and how much was paid— and connects it to codes and descriptions used in the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS).

Each dashboard has its own set of filters and displays different summary metrics and reports at the top of the page and a provider list at the bottom that change according to the filter values you choose.

In any provider list, you can click a provider name to access the provider’s address and phone number and prescriptions and claims reports specific to the provider. After you add a provider from ProviderView™ to the hc1 CRM, this Provider Details dashboard is available as the ProviderView subtab on the contact record.
