ProviderView™ is a streamlined way to find prospects for the services your healthcare organization offers. ProviderView™ transforms data from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and multiple electronic data interchange (EDI) clearinghouses into visualizations that you can dial in with filters to discover the areas of greatest opportunity. The data is presented in 2 tabs: Individuals and Organizations.

ProviderView is a separate subscription from hc1 CRM, if you are interested in adding either ProviderView or hc1 CRM to your hc1 environment, contact our Sales department at info@hc1.com. To find information about the latest release of ProviderView, go to the Release Notes page.

To open ProviderView:

  1. Sign in to your hc1 environment.
  2. Click  and click  ProviderView.

Each ProviderView tab has a Dashboard and List:

  • The Dashboard is where you apply filters to narrow down data.
  • The List is where you view details about individual providers and organizations and export information to hc1 CRM.

The global metrics across the top of both tabs highlight the number of providers or organizations, specialties, public medical claims (for individuals) and post acute care referrals (both source and destination for organizations) that are in your current Search Results list on the List. These numbers are the result of all the filters you have applied on the Dashboard. Hover your mouse pointer over these metrics for additional information about these numbers.

To see the filters in action, watch the ProviderView for PACs or ProviderView for Labs videos.

The Individuals Dashboard has these main sections:

  • The Provider Breakdown section includes the Providers Distribution drill-through heat map, Top 5 Specialties bar chart comparison, and a Years of Experience pie chart. The source for this data is the NPPES NPI Directory. The data is approximately 1 month old and is updated on a monthly basis.
  • The PAC Referral Claims section includes visualizations for Top Referral Source Breakdown, Top Quarter over Quarter Trends in Referrals, and Bottom Quarter over Quarter Trends in Referrals. The source for this data depends on the payor, which is either Medicare or Managed Care. The Medicare data comes from Medicare Part A claims, is approximately 6-9 months old, and is updated by CMS on a quarterly basis. The Managed Care data comes from data from multiple electronic data interchange (EDI) clearinghouses and includes private payer and Medicare Advantage claims data.
